Background

Since 2010, the Satoyama Initiative has worked with the hundreds of member organisations of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) to promote the concept of socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS) around the world. In that time, many collaborative activities, resource mobilisation mechanisms, joint research projects, and a wide variety of events and workshops have been organised, promoting the concept of landscape approaches.
