2014.09.12

The Public Forum of the Fifth IPSI Global Conference (IPSI-5) will be held from 9:00 to 13:00 on Sunday, 5 October 2014 in Hall G, Room 3 of the Alpensia Convention Center in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea, back-to-back with the Twelfth Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP12). The theme of this year’s Public Forum is “Furthering action in production landscapes and seascapes for sustainable development”.

The IPSI Public Forum serves as an excellent opportunity for IPSI members and non-members alike to discuss issues related to production landscape- and seascape-based approaches to biodiversity and sustainable development. It is also a good chance for the general public to learn about IPSI and its activities.

The Public Forum is open to anyone who would like to attend. The IPSI Secretariat asks that anyone planning to attend contact us before the event with your name and contact information. We hope to see many of you soon in Pyeongchang.

Please see here for detailed information IPSI-5_Public Forum Flyer20140918

Note: While the IPSI Public Forum is open to the public, attendees must register for CBD COP12 in order to enter, since the conference facilities will be restricted to those registered for COP12 during those dates. For more information about registering for CBD COP12, please see the CBD website.
