We are pleased to announce that the Secretariat of the Satoyama Development Mechanism (SDM) has opened the call for proposals for SDM 2024. The SDM is a collaborative activity operated by the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), UNU-IAS (host of the IPSI Secretariat), and the Ministry of the Environment of Japan. Its purpose is to provide financial support for the implementation of activities under IPSI.
We invite you to submit project proposals for SDM 2024. This year, we will award grants of up to USD 20,000 to five selected projects. The project period should not exceed two years.
Important information regarding the application process:
- Application Deadline: Thursday 15 August 2024
- Eligibility: SDM applications are open exclusively to IPSI member organizations.
- Before submitting a proposal, please carefully review the information available on our website and familiarize yourself with the “Satoyama Development Mechanism Framework and Procedures 2024.”
