International Satoyama Intiative

IPSI, the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative, promotes collaboration in the conservation and restoration of sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes: SEPLS) through broader global recognition of their value.

International Lake Environment Committee Foundation (ILEC)

Many lakes in the world, in spite of their global relevance, are in critical condition and will be most severely affected by global warming because of their lentic (static) nature as a water system. In coping with these situations, ILEC is promoting sustainable management of lakes and their basins in collaboration with people of the world engaged in the conservation of water and lakes.
