Servicio Nacional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre (SERFOR) – National Forest and Wildlife Service, Peru

SERFOR is responsible for managing Peru’s national forests. In this broad sense, SERFOR works together with small farmers, as well as medium and large enterprises. Especially important is to guarantee the access to forest and agroforestry technology of small farmers in forest areas occupied by agriculture and to help societies live in harmony with nature through conservation and advancement of socio-ecological prosuction landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS) that secure ecosystem services and conserve biodiversity to support and enhance human well-being.
