International Satoyama Intiative

IPSI, the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative, promotes collaboration in the conservation and restoration of sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes: SEPLS) through broader global recognition of their value.

International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC)

The CIC was initiated in 1928 when the founders realized the importance of sustainable use and conservation of wildlife far before the launch of most environmental movements. The CIC today is active in 84 countries as an international advisory body, with a broad membership of governments, Associations and Universities as well as Experts and Individuals united for one common goal: that nature be maintained for future generations through sustainable use.
