Institute for Societal Advancement


Institute for Societal Advancement (ISA) is a voluntary organization dedicated to societal advancement. A group of very eminent development administrators, researchers and consultants having diverse experience in Indian Administrative Service, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Consultancy, Planning, Teaching and Research in Social Sciences (including Development Economics) etc. came together in May 2004 to form ISA, registered under Travancore Cochin Charitable Societies Act. ISA undertakes development, research and consultancy works, with focus on the poor. Help the poor, socially deprived and disadvantaged sections of society to enhance their capabilities and to enable them to improve quality of life. Undertake studies, research work and consultancy on problems of social and economical development of the poor. Create awareness about health, drinking water, sanitation and environmental awareness and self-enrichment. Help the poor SC/ST school going students by starting study centers for them all over the state in a phased manner.
