International Satoyama Intiative

IPSI, the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative, promotes collaboration in the conservation and restoration of sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes: SEPLS) through broader global recognition of their value.

Q1. Is there a membership fee for IPSI?

A1. Currently there are no fees.

Q2. Can membership be withdrawn at any time?

A2. A member can choose to withdraw at any time by providing advance notification to the Secretariat in writing.

Q3. Can an individual participate in IPSI?

A3. IPSI comprises organisations only; and individuals cannot participate in the Partnership.

Q4. Can a part of an organisation (e.g. a branch office) participate in IPSI?

A4. Yes, although participation as a whole organisation is encouraged.

Q6. Can I use the Satoyama Initiative logo?
