The International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) aims to carry out activities under the Satoyama Initiative concept for the benefit of biodiversity and human well-being.
All IPSI members engage, in an appropriate capacity, in one or more of the activities promoted under IPSI. These activities are divided into five clusters, namely:
(1) knowledge Facilitation
(2) Policy Research
(3) Research for Indicators
(4) Capacity Building
(5) On the ground activities
Ongoing activities of members provide common grounds with IPSI, and projects that are in accordance with one or more clusters above, carried out cooperatively by multiple member organisations are promoted as IPSI collaborative activities.
