IPSI, the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative, promotes collaboration in the conservation and restoration of sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes: SEPLS) through broader global recognition of their value.

Asociación de campesinos vecinos del Parque Natural Nacional Serranía de los Yariguies (ASOCAPAYARI)

ASOCAPAYARI’s objectives are:

-Improve the life level of the membership of the association and the community around while we help to recover the wildlife and flora and preserve the environment around the Natural National Park Serranía de los Yariguies.

-Find projects to help the community to implement practices eco-sustainable like renewable energy, Biodigesters, Septic tanks and other that permit the people live in the rural area with minimum affect to the environment.

-Find fair trade buyers to our products, mainly cacao beans, which give value to our cacao beans because the way that we are producing and our quality, helping us to be sustainable our cacao harvest.
