International Satoyama Intiative

IPSI, the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative, promotes collaboration in the conservation and restoration of sustainable human-influenced natural environments (Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes: SEPLS) through broader global recognition of their value.

Accelerated Rural Development Organisation (ARDO)

ARDO promote sustainable management and conservation the ecological systems such as the mountain ranges, watersheds heritage / sacred sites and restoration of endangered flora and fauna.

ARDO contributes to IPSI objectives by mobilizing, sensitizing, educating communities and institutions on the importance of protecting our natural resources and effects of degradation. ARDO promotes landscape restoration and conservation through the promotion and development of ecologically friendly livelihoods. These include integrated agriculture, beekeeping, eco-tourism and other income generating activities which contribute to a healthy ecosystem.

ARDO is restoring degraded watersheds, abandoned sacred sites, removing bush/uncontrolled fires and control or inorganic chemical us on the landscape.
